The Camden Christmas Festival is back and set to light up our beautiful little town on Saturday, 23 November 2024! It’s always a stunning event, and whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time visiting, it’s a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas season.
Please note there will be road closures in Camden on the day of the festival, which may affect access to our salon. Be sure to plan your visit accordingly to avoid any inconvenience. We wanted to remind you (or let you know if you didn’t already) that we have parking available in our private car park (at the rear of the building) for our clients. Feel free to use it during your visit! Just a small request—please park considerately to leave room for others and ensure the garage door stays clear.

The lighting of the Camden Christmas Tree
Amusements including live entertainment, stallholders, kid activities including arts and crafts, and an inclusive space!
A visit from Santa

Full Closures (10:00 AM – 11:30 PM):
Argyle Street (between Murray Street and Elizabeth Street)
John Street (between Argyle Street and Mitchell Street)
Partial Closures (10:00 AM – 11:30 PM):
John Street (between Broughton Street and Argyle Street)
Oxley Street
Hill Street
Larkin Place (vehicles unable to exit onto John Street)
Detours:
Camden Bypass at the Old Hume Highway
Camden Valley Way at Macarthur Road

Mitchell Street (outside Macarthur Disability Services and Camden Public School)
Elizabeth Street (North and South)
Roads Reopen: 11:30 PM (subject to safety conditions)
